Return and Refund Policy – SOPTERA
At SOPTERA, our top priority is your satisfaction. We are passionate about creating unique kimonos that celebrate individuality, and we want you to feel that your purchase reflects your one-of-a-kind self. If for any reason you’re not entirely happy with your order, we’re here to help with a fair and transparent return and refund process under the following conditions.
Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted within 45 days from the date of shipment. To initiate a return, please contact us at soptera.jly@gmail.com. You will need to provide your order number and reason for return. We will then guide you through the return process.
Please note that the return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. The item must be returned in its original condition, unused, and with all original packaging intact.
Condition of the Items
SOPTERA specializes in selling unique kimonos made from repurposed sari fabrics. Part of the beauty and charm of these kimonos lies in the fact that they are made from recycled fabrics, which means they may not be perfectly flawless. Small imperfections, slight color variations, and unique features are inherent to the fabric's history, and contribute to the beauty of the garment.
We do not accept returns for minor imperfections, as they are part of the uniqueness and character of the kimono.
Refund Process
Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return conditions. If the return is approved, a refund will be issued for the cost of the item. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and the return shipping cost will be borne by the customer. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at soptera.jly@gmail.com with a photo of the damage. We will issue a refund or store credit for the value of the item.
- We will not send a replacement item.
- If the item was purchased on discount, the store credit or refund will be for the discounted price paid.
How to Return an Item
To return an item, please email soptera.jly@gmail.com to initiate the return process. Be sure to include your order number and the reason for the return.
When returning an item:
- Take a clear photo of the issue. If the problem relates to size, include a photo with a ruler for reference.
- Use the subject line: "Order # [YourOrderNumber] Replacement Request."
- SOPTERA is not responsible for lost returns. We recommend using a reliable shipping method with proof of delivery or a tracking number to ensure the package arrives safely.
Important Notes
- All returns must meet the conditions outlined above to be eligible for a refund.
- Refunds will not be granted for incorrect orders (size, color, quantity, etc.) as we ship exactly what is selected during the purchase.
- We aim to process returns and refunds within 7 business days of receiving the returned item. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account depending on your payment provider.
- If an order cannot be delivered due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide compensation in the form of a full refund or store credit, as appropriate.
