Anaelle, co-founder:
Living in India for three years changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. I fell in love with the culture, the chaos, and the way it disrupted my perception of reality and consciousness.
India became my greatest teacher. It showed me possibilities, the possibility to recreate, to reinvent, to see life through a completely different lens. And in that spirit, the idea for my first brand was born.
Inspired by the endless colors of saris I saw on women walking in the streets, I decided to design clothing that would make people feel as alive and excited as I felt.
I traveled to Rajasthan, choosing vintage saris that told their own stories, falling in love with each one, and getting excited by the endless choices of colors, patterns, and textures. Despite being nudged toward new fabrics, I couldn’t resist the magic of vintage.
What began as a personal creation process quickly grew into something much larger. My mom, my partner, and I poured our hearts into this family business, working together to bring these treasures to people around the world. What started as a simple idea blossomed into a beautiful journey, one that reflects not only my love for India but also our commitment to sustainability, creativity, and self-expression.

Meeting in Bali, in Divine Timing
After three years of successfully connecting with people who shared our excitement for wearing our clothes through markets, festivals, and countless pop-up events- the business reached a point where a new structure and vision were needed to bring our dreams and goals to life.
In a moment of divine timing, we met in Bali, while Uri was traveling on his honeymoon with his beautiful wife.
We instantly connected, bonding over our shared desire to create our own paths and live life on our own terms. Many days and nights were spent exchanging ideas and envisioning the lives we wanted to build. That’s when we decided to join forces and reimagine a brand that reflects our values and inspires others to embrace their own unique paths.

The Synergy of Masculine and Feminine: Soptera’s Foundation
Uri, an entrepreneur at heart, brought his strength in leadership and the ability to build a business from the ground up, shaping Soptera’s vision for the online world and expanding it beyond just a clothing brand.
Together, we combined the intuitive flow of the feminine creation with the focused drive of the masculine, creating something greater than either of us could alone. This union reflects the values and way of life we hold dear—each of us embracing the strengths and weaknesses within ourselves and supporting one another in a way that honors our differences. We choose to celebrate the unique qualities of being a man and a woman, rather than diminishing them.
In our business, we strive to create an environment rooted in openness, communication, and honesty—both between us and with our team—believing in the power of these values to positively shape the workplace and its culture.
